3255 - QF In-line Spark Trap

  • Greatly reduces the possibility of fire in cyclones / collectors by decreasing the number of sparks which could reach these through the air handling system. This is accomplished by disrupting the laminar airflow to cause sparks to cool and extinguish before they can enter the dust collector / cyclone.
  • No moving parts and no power required for operation.
  • Velocity: 1500-5000 fpm
  • Duct distance recommended: At least ten diameters from dust collector / cyclone and the source (example: 8" duct line, recommended distance is min. 80")
  • Horizontal mounting only.
